Mason & Hanger provided full discipline architectural and engineering services for the modernization of a new melt pour LAP facility at IAAAP capable of efficiently producing DoD's current and future large-caliber explosive LAP needs. The facility will fill projectiles with IMX 101 and 104, but be capable of TNT and Comp-B fills, as well.
This project demonstrates our team's ability to provide AoA for equipment, facilities, and building arrangements for a truly modern, efficient, and well-planned facility for the production of munitions. The results of these AoAs were used to develop a 15% design and budgetary cost estimates similar to the requirement of the SL-30 Program.
