Mason & Hanger provided full discipline A/E services for the modernization of a melt pour LAP facility at IAAAP capable of efficiently producing DoD's current and future large-caliber explosive LAP needs. The facility fills projectiles with IMX 101 and 104, but be capable of TNT and Comp-B fills.
This project demonstrates Mason & Hanger's ability to provide AoA for equipment, facilities, and building arrangements for a truly modern, efficient, and well-planned facility for the production of munitions. The results of these AoAs were used to develop a 15% design and budgetary cost estimates similar to the requirement of the SL-30 Program.
