Mason & Hanger provided 100% full-discipline design services for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Special Tactics Facility complex on a 40-acre secure site at Fort Bragg. The complex was completed in three phases with Mason & Hanger performing full design services for Phase 2 and Phase 3, together comprised of eight buildings totaling over 226,334 square feet.
Building 1 is a two-story headquarters building with a command suite and tactical operations center. Building 2 is a two-story Medical/Physical/Aquatics Training Building, and Building 3 is a two-story Combat Support Team Building providing facilities for aircrew equipment maintenance, vehicle maintenance and storage. Buildings 1, 2 and 3 were provided as the Phase 2 project.
Phase 3 provided Buildings 4-8. Buildings 4 and 5 are primarily administrative spaces for Special Tactics teams. Building 6 is an unoccupied, ventilated storage building used for preparation of deployments. Building 7 is dedicated to vehicle maintenance with associated administrative spaces and Building 8 is an unoccupied, open structure that provides space for storage of equipment and vehicles.
