Mason & Hanger provided full discipline architectural and engineering services for programming, planning, and design to optimize and modernize a new melt pour LAP facility. The new facility will be capable of efficiently producing the DoD's current and future large-caliber explosive LAP needs.
This project provided AoA for equipment, facilities, and building arrangements for the production of munitions. The results of these AoAs were used to develop a 15% design and budgetary cost estimates similar to the requirement of the SL-30 Program. These efforts included design for a completely modern production facility involving munitions and explosives processing.
