The long-awaited U.S. Infrastructure Bill was signed into law, paving the way for an exciting refresh of the nation’s infrastructure. The plan will deliver funds over five years to improve roads, bridges, public transit systems, water systems, broadband, and the electric grid. The recently approved Infrastructure and Jobs Act by the Senate is massive, even by U.S. government standards. In its roughly 2,700 pages, $1.2 trillion dollars of new and continuing funds are allocated to improve nearly all areas of our infrastructure and help to reduce emissions.
