Tell us about what you do!

janaI started as a Project Coordinator with Day & Zimmermann’s ECM Condenser Division. Over time I became more interested in executing the work we did, so I went back to school to earn a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology so that I could transition from an administrative position into a more technical role. I eventually transferred to Mason & Hanger, a Day & Zimmermann company, to achieve my goal and focus on a new career path in mechanical engineering.

As a graduate level engineer, my job mostly includes creating and editing drawings (CAD/BIM) and performing engineering calculations to aid in the design of HVAC systems.
