December has proven to be a busy month for staff to complete certification testing. Mason & Hanger is proud to congratulate the following five individuals who have further proved their dedication to strengthen their talent and skill.
Building Sciences Studio Sr. Energy Engineer Evan Riley is now certified through ASHRAE’s Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) program. The technology-rich accreditation further supports his expertise in critical energy modeling knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Adding to our total our 38 LEED AP professionals on staff, Building Sciences Studio engineers Jason Martin and Mark Midgley, just completed LEED AP BD+C certification. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, was established to support sustainable building design. A factor for many of the projects completed by Mason & Hanger, certification involves developing an in-depth knowledge of building and construction guidelines, approach, and systems that impact our environment.
Director of Electrical Engineering Doug Peckinpaugh, and Project Manager Jon Miller, obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. The certification process requires real field-experience, comprehensive training, testing, and continuing education.
